The Reach Fund is piloting a new model for investment readiness support where organisations can apply for support in the early stages of working with a social investor. The programme is funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment. As a social investor and a Reach Fund 'Access Point', SASC can refer organisations to the programme to apply for the support they need. Read more about the programme through our short Reach Fund FAQ below:
Who is it for?
The Reach Fund provides grants to charities and social enterprises to help them raise social investment. If you are already working with SASC (e.g. you have applied for an investment from one of our funds) then you can apply to the Reach Fund for grant funding to help pay for additional support.
What can I apply for?
Investment readiness grants of £5,000 - £15,000 are available. Grants can be used for a wide range of investment readiness support needs for example business planning support, financial modelling, governance advice or other specific pieces of work related to your investment need.
Am I eligible?
The fund is open to charities and social enterprises, operating in England. Any organisation can register and complete the diagnostic tool but in order to apply for a grant you must have been in contact with a designated 'Access Point' like SASC who will approve your registration.
How do I apply?
Please visit http://www.reachfund.org.uk/how-to-apply for more details.
The first step of the process will be to register on the Reach Fund website where you will be asked for some basic information about your organisation.
