Clodagh Warde

Clodagh joined in February 2022 as Director of Strategy and Development. She brings a wealth of experience and diversity of perspective from a career that spans technology research, investment banking and international development. Prior to SASC, Clodagh worked at Social Finance, where she co-headed the Health and Social Care team, and managed the Care and Wellbeing Fund, the first outcomes-based fund to invest exclusively in the health care sector.

Previously, Clodagh worked in health, both in advisory and leadership roles in the UK and abroad. Most recently she was a Senior Adviser in NHS England; a Managing Director of an NHS CSU (Commissioning Support Unit), and before this Deputy and Interim CEO of a large Community NHS trust. Before that she spent three years in Uganda working on a HIV/AIDS community care programme that became the first NGO to dispense anti-retroviral drugs. This programme was recommended by the US government’s Aids initiative (PEPFAR) as a model of best practice.

Clodagh started her career as a systems engineer before moving into banking, as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.
