Louis G. Elson is Managing Partner of Palamon Capital Partners, a pan-European private equity firm based in London he co-founded in 1999. Louis has been an active figure in the private equity industry for 30 years, serving on the Board of the BVCA and as Chairman of its Research Advisory Board. He has extensive involvement in education and social service organisations, including Vice-Chair of Impetus-Private Equity Foundation, Founding Trustee of Educational Endowment Foundation, and Board member of More United. He has also been a long-time member of the Development Board of The Prince’s Trust and the Advisory Council of the British Film Institute. In the United States, Louis is a Charter Trustee of Phillips Academy Andover and Trustee Emeriti of The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
