Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), an award-winning UK fund manager and social enterprise, has appointed Adam Moy as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.

Adam is an experienced financial services lawyer. He has worked in the regulated financial services sector for over 25 years, with firms including Clifford Chance, Skadden Arps and Citigroup. He was General Counsel of the Banking Division at Close Brothers Group Plc and Head of Legal at The Co-operative Bank Plc during its restructuring.

Adam says, “I am delighted to join SASC as Chief Operating Officer and GC at a time of expansion and growth. My interest in the social impact sector developed after I became a trustee for Community Links. I have been struck by the talented and highly motivated team at SASC.

“The firm is making significant strides in the social investment sector. Its flagship fund ‘Social and Sustainable Housing’ matches the needs of investors with those of charities and social sector organisations. I am looking forward to using my experience to support the firm’s further development and growth.”

Ben Rick, Co-Founder and Managing Director of SASC said, “We are delighted to appoint Adam Moy in his new role. We have been working closely with Adam for several months. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable to us, and he will play a significant role in our growth.”
