Jorge has more than 20 years experience in Corporate and Investment Banking. He advised clients in Mergers and Acquisitions for more than a decade with Goldman Sachs. After a brief stint with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development financing clients in the Power and Energy sector, he spent 8 years with BBVA as Global Head of several client segments, setting up a new business to service Private Equity, Infrastructure and Energy fund clients.
Jorge is passionate about contributing his experience in finance to benefit the broader community, helping people achieve better outcomes. He serves as Trustee and Treasurer of two charities, The Poetry Translation Centre and Voluntary Action Islington, assisting their Boards in achieving their long term objectives.
