Brook Young People is a charity established in 1964 by Helen Brook, who opened the first sexual health clinic for women in London. The organisation now operates in 22 locations in England and delivers Relationships and Sexuality Education in 43% of local authorities in England. SASC supports its work in Cornwall.

In 2018 Brook’s clinical services helped more than 51,000 young people, with over half of those coming from the 40% most deprived communities in the country. Over half a million young people accessed the charity’s online help and advice pages and a further 128,000 under 25s benefitted from its education and wellbeing programmes.

Brook also provides expert professional training. In September 2020, Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) will become mandatory for young people, making Brook’s service even more vital.
